A2. Analysis and selection of Good Practices
Aim: To eventually issue comprehensive research publications that will have as a point of reference the creation of a common conceptual framework in the field of psychosocial skills development (PSD) and that is meant to be used for improving the organizational capabilities of the consortium members.
Activity Content: To achieve this, the conducted research will be of 2 parts. The 1st will be the Conceptual Framework Analysis (CFA) whose aim will be to obtain a better overview of the current state of affairs, to chart the problem, and obtain a better grasp of the challenges we encounter while implementing our educational interventions. The 2nd will be the Methodology Toolkit (MT), namely a selection of 3 examples of good practices per partner (12 in total) detailing their methodology, target groups, expected results etc. These good practices could be about how we handle sensitive situations of discrimination or about how we try to provide safe spaces for our beneficiaries. They could also be about how we manage problems of interpersonal communication or/and how we foster the development of communication skills in our beneficiaries. Working language will be English and translations will be produced after the finalization stage. This material will be used as preliminary work for the two Peer Learning Workshops that will follow.
Results: 2 documents, the CFA and the MT, in the form of e-books (e.g. PDF file format), translated into the partners’ languages
A3. Peer Learning Workshops (PLW)
Aim: To organize 2 workshops (Rome, Vienna) where our personnel will obtain new educational tools (e.g. good practices) related to PSD through peer learning, namely by presenting their work and their most influential and successful projects and/or by involving other organisations with similar activites.
Activity Content: The 1st PLW is expected to take place in Rome in July 2024 while the 2nd in Vienna in October 2024. In these workshops it is expected that partners will present their most relevant projects and involve interested stakeholders. They will do so by employing the work already completed, the CFA and MT. Each working day may be divided into two working sections. In the first part of the work, theoretical aspects should be covered, while the second should function by unifying and incorporating the acquisition of more practical elements, emphasizing innovative aspects of the methods presented (e.g. tackling practical problems of everyday activities). The content may focus on how to bring to the fore and obtain a better understanding of the trainees' past experiences of discrimination, violence and segregation
Participants: For both Workshops, participants to be involved are 3 from each sending organisation plus those of the hosting organisation and its potentially involved stakeholders. Special priority should be given to women participants (at least 3/4 ratio).
Workshop days: 3 working days + 2 travel days for each workshop
Results: the presentations of the hosting organisations
A4. Adaptation and Implementation of Tools
Activity Content: Following the peer learning workshops, we will adapt the tools and practices that we collected in the MT into the local contexts of our organisations. We will do so by making changes to them that we deem necessary based on our prior experience in the field. Following this, we will implement some of them into our daily work by organizing sessions with our beneficiaries that will provide us with feedback on the potential methods of how to transform our learning environments into safe spaces of inclusion. Our following methodology workshop (MW) will have this preliminary work as its starting point.
Participants: oranisation personnel and organisation beneficiaries
A5. Methodology Workshop (MW)
Aim: To organize 1 workshop (Larisa, Greece) in which our personnel will obtain new methods and strategies on how to transform our organizational environment into safe places of inclusion.
Activity Content: The MW is expected to take place in Larisa in April 2025. Based on the adapted MT, we will work collectively so as to devise methods on how to transform our interventions/organisations in ways that better accommodate issues of social exclusion that our beneficiaries face. We will also use case studies that address this topic and we will combine their findings with our experience from our professional work. This will culminate in a final document in which we will address these new methods and strategies.
Participants: 2 from each sending organisation plus those of the hosting organisation and its potentially involved stakeholders. Special priority should be given to women participants (at least 3/4 ratio).
Workshop days: 3 working days + 2 travel days for each workshop
Results: publication of a conclusions document that will compile in a detailed manner the results of our workshops (preliminary research, good practices, innovative methodologies developed), in the form of an e-book (e.g. PDF file format), translated into the partners’ languages
A6. Dissemination
Project website (MSK, Poland): Creation of a website (July 2024) for the project to give visibility to the partners and its results. Partners will also issue press releases to local and regional media and use their social media to achieve this aim. Moreover, each organisation must have a dedicated section in their website for the project.
EU platforms: Updating of the Erasmus online platforms (Epale, Project Results Platform, Otlas) with info regarding our project and its results.
Local blended conferences: At the end of the project (August and September 2025), each partner must implement a local dissemination activity in their own city with 40 physical participants and 20 virtual participants.
